Military Banner Program

The City of Fontana’s Military Banner Program is designed to support, recognize and express appreciation for individuals of the Fontana community who are bravely serving in the United States Armed Forces. Currently, we have over 100 banners proudly displayed on major thoroughfares within the City.

To be eligible for a banner, the following criteria must be met:

  • On active duty with any branch of the U.S. Military Services, and
  • A current resident, or
  • A former resident of Fontana during the ages of 1 through 21 years old.

A current or former resident who gave their life during their service is also eligible.

Banner Locations

  • Sierra Ave (South of Foothill Blvd)
  • Jurupa Ave
  • Santa Ana Ave
  • Slover Ave
  • Arrow Blvd

Military banners are installed on a first-come, first-serve basis at available locations in the designated areas, but can still be requested through the online form. Banners are limited to certain areas due to windy conditions.
