Fontana’s Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) is an award-winning, San Bernardino county-recognized group of teens that dedicate their time and passion to assist in advancing our city. MYAC allows members ages 12 -18 years old the opportunity to become involved in their community by establishing a foundation of leadership, promoting youth development, and providing civic engagement opportunities to young people. MYAC is currently comprised of 47 members representing Fontana and Etiwanda School Districts High Schools and Middle Schools.

23-24 Teen Leadership Summit 

The Teen Leadership Summit empowers youth and parents to thrive with inspiring speakers such Mayor Acquanetta Warren and Jamal Root from Teen Truth serving as this year's keynote speakers. Teens will attend interactive workshops on Leadership Development, Resume Building, Mental Health, Financial Literacy, and more. There will be two parent workshops along with a resource fair that will host local colleges and businesses. Lunch will be provided for all registered attendees. On Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Jurupa Hills High School (10700 Oleander Ave.).
 
The Teen Leadership Summit is free for 6th through 12th grade students and their parents/caregivers. Register today at eventbrite.com.
