Inspections need to be scheduled 48 hours in advance. Overtime Inspections must be scheduled Monday - Thursday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Please fill out the required overtime inspection form Overtime Request Form then email to firstname.lastname@example.org for processing. Once approved, you will receive an emailed invoice with an approved copy of your request.
Payment is required prior to the requested inspection date; if the payment is not made within time, services will not be provided.
Overtime approval is based on availability of staff.
Engineering overtime inspection fees are calculated at $125 per hour in 2-hour increments (minimum of 2 hours per request).
Any additional inspection time incurred over the approved time will be charged at the hourly rate in 2-hour increments.
Overtime for signal flash/power interruption is calculated at $250 per day, per signal.
There will be no refunds or credit for cancellations.
The inspector will not be bound to your project exclusively.
All work done in the absence of inspection will be rejected and subject to removal.
Any contractor working within the vicinity of a signalized intersection while failing to schedule City-requested flash operation will be shut down.
Contractors can be cited under City Code Sections 25-121 and 25-123(a).
For all inspections, please ensure that a copy of the approved plans and permit are always available on site for the city inspector to review during any field inspection.
