Emergency Inspections

Work done under this permit is to be scheduled prior to doing any work by calling the Emergency Inspection line at (909) 350-6507, available 24 hours/7 days a week.

• Leave your company name, permit number, the location and description of the work needed, and job site contact with phone number.
• The annual emergency permit covers the installation or maintenance in emergency situations of existing public utilities located in the public right-of-way or utility easements. 
• It is only to be used in situations where the utility corporation is unable to pull a standard permit after hours or in emergency situations. 
• Such blanket permits shall not be used for routine work outside of said circumstances.
• Monthly reports of work done under the blanket permit shall be sent monthly to the Department of Engineering at engineering@fontanaca.gov. Any additional work will require a standard permit to be pulled.
