Fontana Oversight Board

The Fontana Oversight Board was formed in February 2012 pursuant to Assembly Bill AB 26. The Fontana Oversight Board is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Fontana Successor Agency to the former Fontana Redevelopment Agency as it administers the former Redevelopment Agency’s “winding down” operations and obligations. The Fontana Oversight Board has a fiduciary responsibility to the holders of enforceable obligations and the taxing entities that benefit from the distributions of property tax and other revenue.

The Oversight Board is comprised of seven representatives of multiple government agencies with tax-related interests in the assets of the former Redevelopment Agency.
